According to The Knot, a couple should send Save the Date Cards six months before a wedding. Printed postcards, magnets and traditional folded cards are popular styles of Save the Dates, and all price examples below include personalized printing.

Typical costs:
  • Not including invitations and reply cards, additional wedding stationery costs an average of $188, according to The Bridal Association of America.
  • Printed postcard announcements typically range from $0.20 to $0.55 each.
  • Save the Date magnets typically range from $0.30 to $1.60 each, with the lowest prices reserved for orders of 500 or more.

What should be included:

I spent a complete total of $10.00 including S&H for 100 save the date cards, I was not only able to personalize them in my own words but I was also able to place a photo of me and my fiance onto the cards. Honestly before I received the cards I thought they were gonna be ugly cheap little cards, cause they were $5.00. but when I finally got them OMG! I was shock at how nice they looked, they had a high gloss finish, very high quality. I am extremely satisfied with my decision to order my save the date cards from 123print.com, I'm now looking to buy the Invitations there as well.
