| I had fairly severe cholasma on my cheeks, upper neck, chin and upper lip area. I had tried everything from Retin A to Bleaching creams. Nothing worked. My dermatology office purchased a intense pulsed light therapy device and I decided to try it. After 5 treatments I am almost free of this hyperpigmentation. You must employ the use of a daily Zinc and Titanium sunbock. I use an SPF58. I golf all summer long and although I may have to touch up every year or two, I could not be more pleased!!!!. I will be honest and say that it was painful, but worth it! If you suffer this problem I would strongly suggest you check this out with your dermatologist, but be sure to have a test patch done first! |
