Orisinal. This site offers over 50 simple, original, family-friendly games. My favorites are "Winter Bells" which is the second image of a bell on the first row, and "The Way Home", which is the apple in the window in the middle of the first row. These games offer a skillful combination of graphics, colors, theme and music.

Desktop Tower Defense. There's been a lot of buzz lately about Desktop Tower Defense, a strategy game where you build walls, towers and defenses to block an invasion of creatures from marching across the screen. The maker, Kongregate, is also becoming a major repository for little web games.
